4 Reasons White Iron Ridge is the Wedding Venue of Your Dreams

With 3 years of wedding photography experience, I know a thing or two about wedding venues.

Some venues really tick all of the boxes for must-haves. One such perfect venue is White Iron Ridge in Smithville, MO. Everything you need to plan, primp and party your way to a perfect wedding day in one easy location.

Scene/Setting

Before you even step foot into the building, you’ll be blown away by the gorgeous property. Tucked away right outside of the busy KC area, White Iron Ridge offers both indoor and outdoor options for couples. With 3 outdoor ceremony sites and an 11,000 square-foot barn; even the most particular bride will find her absolute fairytale setting.

Getting Ready

White Iron Ridge has 2 beautiful getting ready-rooms for members of the wedding party. With more space than a hotel room, you’ll enjoy getting ready, and won’t worry about tripping over shoes, or your photographer - me!

Going up the tower to the Honeymoon Suite - yes, that’s right, a tower- the Suite is filled with light, making it the perfect space for brides to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some quiet time before the ceremony, getting their portraits taken.

A Walk to Remember

Both traditional and modern brides alike will love the magnificent double-iron staircase that replaces walking down an aisle. You’ll feel like a movie star with everyone's eyes on you as you make your way down the stairs. It’s the perfect spot for brides to show their personalities with backdrops, arches, and floral arrangements.

Space to Party

Remember that 11,000 square-foot barn we mentioned? With a capacity of 450, you’ll be able to fit everyone on your guest list onto the dance floor with ease. With 2 parlors and a covered deck, complete with seating, fireplaces, a loft, and fireplace- your guests will have the most luxurious wedding experience sure to keep them talking all year!

Every second of your wedding day will be filled with love, laughter, and maybe even happy tears - as a wedding photographer I know how important it is for you to soak up every second. You shouldn’t be concerned about transportation to and from hotels, ceremony locations, or reception halls. By choosing an all-in-one venue you save yourself time, money, and stress that you can’t afford- and shouldn’t deal with on the best day of your life.

Having photographed at White Iron Ridge, and met the owners and staff there, I am confident that you’ll be well-taken care of.
