The Martensons - Classic Meets Country

When your day starts out photographing your brides jeweled cowboy boots and personalized denim jacket you know you're in for a good day! A View Fontanelle Hills is a gorgeous venue near the Nebraska/Iowa border. This all in one wedding venue is complete with bride/groom suites and plenty of beautiful areas to take pictures. I'm surprised it has taken me 5 years to shoot a wedding there!

The bridal party's hair and makeup was done by Concepts Salon and looked incredible all day, even with the high humidity! Janette's dress from Bridal Traditions in Omaha was so perfectly classic and honestly SO lightweight. It paired BEAUTIFULLY with both heals and boots. It wouldn't be a Midwest wedding if I didn't talk about the weather ;) All morning our bride was worrying about that clouds, But thankfully the rain held off until the first dance with her dad! The newest Martensons got to enjoy their first dance outside on the patio with the amazing hills behind us. About 30 seconds into the father daughter dance this rain started falling and didn't stop until the sparkler exit. Perfect timing if you ask me!

My favorite part of the day was Janette's first look with her grandma. Unfortunately her grandpa passed away 1.5 weeks before the wedding and it was so special to honor him throughout the day. The family ties are very strong on both sides of this sweet new marriage!
