Spring Cottage Garden Wedding in Roca Nebraska
Madison + Bret
Roca Ridge Events - Saturday, May 18th 2024
Stepping into this wedding day was like ripping a book straight out of your favorite fairytale. The Snow White vibes were strong all day. Our bride is a DIY + thrifty + dreamer QUEEN and the wild gardens at Roca Ridge was the absolute perfect backdrop for her vision to come to life!
The couple met through the Hinge dating app, their first date was at an Irish Pub “putting back whiskeys”. From the moment you meet Madison & Bret you can tell their souls were meant to find each other.
Bret describes Madison best: “She is an old soul that has adapted to this modern world well. She is a hummingbird, beautiful and hardworking while also being a little ball of chaos.” And Madison says her favorite thing about Bret is he’s a true old-fashioned gentleman. “I never open my own car door, walk on the outside of the sidewalk, or pay for meals when we go out (unless it's his Birthday). (He) reminds me so much of my dad and the great man he was for me.”
The couple opted out of a first look with each other but Madison’s reveal with her father was a sweet one! Her mother and brother both held photos of her as a toddler up for her dad to see while turning around. This was a sweet little moment to witness.
I could honestly go on and on about how gorgeous Madison was in her Justin Alexander dress from Stephanie’s Bridal Boutique in Kansas City. Or how her bouquet from The Fork and Tiller was the most whimsical perfect bridal bouquet I’ve ever seen - but I’ll let the photos speak for themselves!

When I asked what their favorite part of the engagement was they said “bringing our vision for the future to life and planning out what is next in store” - I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next for the NEW MR+MRS PALMER!
Thank you for choosing LHP to capture your wedding day.
