Finally Forever: a Villa Aletta Wedding

This wedding! Wow, such a long time coming. Faith booked me as her photographer all the way back in 2022 and this day has been eagerly anticipated by so many people, but especially this bride and groom. There were so many sweet and memorable moments on this day, so many tangible objects that Faith included in her wedding to honor and remember her late father.

Their love story started with a car. Faith says “We met at his apartment for the first time, while I was hanging out with a friend. We had mutual friends, and mutual interests (cars), and decided to go to a car meet in Lincoln. It got rained out, so we came back to his apartment to talk. We talked all night long, and clicked really well together and realized how closely intertwined our lives were and how comfortable we were around one another.” These two are so obviously made for each other.

Family is another huge part of the couple’s love story. Mike proposed in his grandparents garden before dinner on their first anniversary. He led Faith down a walkway with flower petals on the ground leading the way to the center. Their son, Andrew was a total ham on the wedding day, and gave me plenty of opportunities for candid photos of him, which I hope his mama will treasure forever.
