Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and The Scottish Rite Ballroom

Nikki planned the most beautifully classic wedding day I have ever been a part of! She knew she wanted everything in a close vicinity for ease of access for her guests, and her venue was perfect for that. Getting ready at the Masonic Center was absolutely perfect, the marble hallway was the most perfect backdrop for all the stunning details Nikki collected. Her florals and invitation suite was designed by my favorite local artist Meg Kathleen Designs.

As you can see, Nikki’s Allure Bridal dress from Ellynne Bridal was ABSOLUTELY SHOWSTOPPING - I mean come on, look at that train!! She finished her perfectly classic look off with jewelry by JamJewels Designs.

Now, one of my favorite historic churches in Lincoln is hands-down Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. The beauty and archetecture of both the inside and outside cannot be matched. Just check out a few of the super sweet moments from Nikki+Tyler’s ceremony.

Now, let’s talk about this bridal party!! They were beautiful, sweet and so so helpful. This sand color bridesmaids dress color has got to be my new favorite - paired with a classic black suit for the groomsmen. The love and hype these friends provided throughout the day just kept me laughing. Nikki+Tyler have an incredible group people supporting them. The girls were also the ones that suggested a flower crown around the groom - who couldn’t keep a straight face - hahahaha!

With the time we had during cocktail hour we spent it at The Tavern on the Square (which has INCREDIBLE bar lighting for photos). Vegas Bombs and Moscow Mules for everyone :)

Their reception was filled with all the smiles, laughs and good food you could ask for. Wedding food has got to be one of my favorite things. N+T’s wedding hosted the most delicious and moist cake from Cupcakes & More with multiple flavors and catering by the one and only Venue Dining & Catering. After dinner our Best Man and Maid of Honor had the whole room (approx. 500 people) belly laughing over their toasts. Nikki and Tyler chose to do a mad dash for a group photo with each and every table which is quite the feat when you have a packed house and full guest list!

The couple enjoyed their first dance - lit by their BRUNS lettered lighting from Alpha-Lit Omaha. There were so many special moments throughout the day with Nikki’s dad, Mike. Their first look, Nikki’s veil lift, and the sweetest father-daughter dance with tears flowing.

To top it all off we had the most perfect sunset with St. Mary’s cathedral in the background. Sunset portraits are my favorite part of the day, can you tell why from the photos? It is so nice to get some fresh air away after all your spotlight dances and take a moment to just realize you’re married.
