rustic romance wedding

country weddings are a big deal here in nebraska, and for a good reason. misty + jason’s day was one of the sweetest, most love-filled days i have experienced. the entire day was held at a privately owned barn in roca nebraska, just a short trip south-west of lincoln.

there were so many emotional moments throughout this day beginning with the first look. these two value time together and you can feel the love when they are close. misty and jason both have children and the day was meant to tie the two families together. their 6 kids made up the bridal party and it was the cutest thing ever! all dresses are from David’s Bridal.

when the time came, misty’s son walked her down the isle. He also stood in place of her late father during the father-daughter dance, let me tell you, the tears were flowing.

as far as details are concerned, misty is the diy queen! almost all her decor was designed and made by her using things from Hobby Lobby and other craft stores. check out their gorgeous handmade ring box and her matching rose gold jewelry. catering was done by family and friends of the couple.
