sheldon art + apothecary wedding

welcome to the gorgeous wedding of brady+erica. i was the second photographer for peter barnes of intrepid visuals, llc. the day was absolutely perfect and the locations were some of my favorite of the entire year. if you have not been to the sheldon art museum PLEASE do yourself a favor and plan a visit. this place is absolutely stunning. you can save a considerable amount of money by booking an outdoor ceremony and then heading inside for photos afterwards. the lighting in there is always to die for and the staircase is the perfect spot for a first look.

this year i had quite a few receptions at the apothecary lofts - ridnour room in downtown lincoln and its a wonderful place to have a party! they recently renovated and i am in love with their accent walls and head-table area. the ridnour room is charming, comfortable and elegant with chiavari chairs and an open catering option as well as the addition of the apothecary loft for additional wedding festivities!

being a second photographer is one of my favorite jobs. i get to concentrate on candid moments instead of always directing and leading the entire wedding day. as a second, i also get to spend more time on getting the closer detail shots which tell the story of the day unfolding. i’ll be writing a blog post about the benefits of hiring a second shooter soon, so be on the lookout for that!
