Alyssa and Andrew have already lived through "in sickness and in health" from beating cancer to walking down the aisle, these two are obviously soulmates. If anyone deserves the perfect wedding day of their dreams, it's Alyssa... she is a woman with a true heart of gold, an infectious laugh and an amazing 3rd grade teacher. It had been over a year since I met these two at their engagement session last October., waiting for their wedding day felt like forever! The only thing that could have made it better is if their dogs, Jersey and Moose, could have made an appearance.

Alyssa described her wedding day as classy, elegant and timeless and it was absolutely all of those things (plus a bit of moody fall perfection). The venue, 1316 Jones St is such a hidden gem! Built in 1889 as the Omaha Bolt, Nut and Screw building - there is so much texture and character inside and out. Just one of the many perks of planning your wedding in Downtown Omaha!

Blooms and Bouquets knocked it out of the park with the stunning floral arrangements and show-stopping bridal bouquet. Alyssa wore the diamond pendant belonging to her great grandma. Her wedding gown was purchased from Bridal Traditions (designed by Essence of Australia). I truly hope to see MORE black velvet dresses like these Birdy Grey gowns worn by Alyssa’s bridesmaids.

The cutest love story, Alyssa and Andrew met on the Facebook Dating app! When it was time to propose, Andrew surprised her at home (the morning before vacation) with scooters, coffee, donuts and photos of them together - HOW SWEET! Their favorite thing is to go out and find a new place for dinner together.

You can just feel the love radiate between these two. Alyssa says "he always makes me feel so loved and cared for" and boy, it shows! They are so loved and supported by their family as well. Such sweet words were spoken during speeches to the bride and groom, our bride couldn’t stop crying!
