The Von Mende’s Classic Wedding at A View on State

The timeless florals and decor from Morgan’s classic, neutral wedding was the definition of perfection at A View on State.

Her dress “Valley” from Rhylan Lang was showstopping, made with classic French Crepe and a stunning floral 3D lace back detail that is both timeless and feminine - Morgan was an absolute VISION in this bridal look. Complete with hair by Nicole Hodges at Mirror Mirror Salon and a flawless makeup look by Hillary Wilkie at model perfect airbrush. She wore her mothers necklace and completed the look with earrings also from Rhylan Lang.

The couple chose to have their first look as Morgan was walking down the aisle with her father.. but they had the sweetest and most emotional first touch where they read their private vows to each other. Tom had a cute first look with his daughter, Grace - while Morgan shared a private moment with her father. His tie had a photo of them sewn in and Morgan had charms in her bouquet to have a piece of her two brothers that their family has lost.

Overall this day was filled with happy and sad tears, celebrating the love between these two but also missing a few very large pieces of their story. It is beautiful how so much joy and sorrow can co-exist in a person’s heart.

Talk about throwing a PARTY! The Von Mende wedding party understood the assignment! I can't think of any better way to start a wedding reception than playing flip cup.! This was truly one of my favorite entrances to date.

The Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Best Girl all made some of the most heartfelt speeches, and the entire room was in tears. When Morgan's maid of honor, Amber, read a letter that her brother Brent wrote for the couple before he passed away, there was not a dry eye in the place. Brent was honored in many ways during the wedding day.

Morgan and Tom's guest had a fun time choosing which football team they were fans of the Chiefs or the Vikings.. I'm sure our bride won by a landslide. (Chiefs Kingdom, baby) AND THE BEST PART was the choreographed dance that Morgan and her parents busted a move to - they received a standing ovation!!
