The happy tears were flowing all morning for Ashley as she was preparing to meet Jarrod at the altar. When you beat cancer, the gratitude of it all just hits harder, this was the day Ashley dreamed about. Her makeup look by Marla Austin Beauty was slaying all day in spite of the tears. Ashley’s idea for bright and colorful garden party vibes were immaculate. A View on State was a vision with the bright florals and the most unique bouquet curated by Meg Kathleen Designs (this girl never disappoints).

Ashley and Jarrod met “on that Bumble” and have been hooked on each other ever since. Their engagement story is a little unique and so so sweet. This guy couldn’t wait to put a ring on it! Ashley says “Jarrod called my dad to ask for his permission, bought a ring, then came into my work right after, all in the span of about an hour. I thought he came to visit me for a drink but I was mistaken. I was behind the bar, and I turned around to him confused. He got down on one knee and said "You wanna do this thing?"

And let’s just take a moment for THE RING - the reveal was kept a surprise until the ceremony. She was a custom designed beauty that brought together elements from grandparents and parents of the couple.
